Jupiter- the planet we worship
The largest planet in our Solar system is known for its generosity, distributing blessings without consciousness of limitation. Where it is located (Zodiac Sign and astrological house) in the natal chart is the area of life where we gathered good karma from the previous incarnations and tend to be luckier in those fields this lifetime. Even if you have a weak Jupiter- such as Jupiter in Capricorn with lots of hard aspects- at the end of the day, it’s still Jupiter and brings some blessings there too.
And those subjects of life that Jupiter blesses are the ones that people might be jealous of you. For example Jupiter in the 11th house, the native is blessed with a large circle of good friends and gains.
The giant planet doesn’t no measures, it overdoes and overshares its blessings, gifts, and opportunities wherever it is located in the natal chart. With time we get used to them, and feel entitled to them, and think those gifts, opportunities, blessings will stay with us forever without earning them. Everyone has a subject of life where he/she is blessed and enjoys something without earning them, without working for them. (Not to the same extent, because in some Zodiac signs and houses, Jupiter is better though.)
And here comes the lessons, or better to say the pain of Jupiter.
As we get used to one particular area of life Jupiter’s gifts and abundant opportunities without earning them without making any effort for them we think it will last forever. WRONG! As Jupiter overshares, gives us abundance, and a plethora of opportunities in one particular area of life it sees after the age of 30-36 that it has given without measures and it stops giving!
And that is more painful than Saturn’s lessons.
Because you got used to it, and you don’t know what has happened, why you are not as lucky as you used to be. And you would give an arm and a leg to have those abundances of opportunities and gifts that you get used to. And maybe Jupiter gifts you again in your late 30ies or 40ies. However, those are not the same, not to the same extent you got used to. And you are left with good memories that will never come back.
In other words, with age, Jupiter becomes like Saturn. And vice versa.
No free gifts and blessings. But much more painful, because the native feels entitled to them. You need to earn them and work for them, or there are no more opportunities again. (Let’s not sugarcoat it, life is not easy peasy.)
For example someone with Jupiter in the 7th house. Wow, from a very young age enjoys a great romantic relationship and good marriage. The one that others are jealous of. However, it doesn’t last for a lifetime. The native thinks that he/she will get another good spouse later in life. Wrong, might get another one, not as good, and won’t be satisfied with him/her. And doesn’t understands why he/she is not blessed anymore with a good spouse.
Or imagine someone having Jupiter on the Ascendant. Granted with such an abundance of opportunities, people are drawn to him/her, a very likable person at a young age. He/she gets used to a blessed life, and all sorts of opportunities are everywhere for him/her. However, after the late 30ies, or later no more opportunities, nothing really works out as he/she got used to. Much more frustrating than Saturn’s hard lessons.
Saturn just wants you to work hard, and make all the effort and the results will come later. Much easier to handle than Jupiter… Being lazy pays off now. Hard work pays off later.
Conclusion:
Be careful with Jupiter’s gifts. The ones you didn’t have to work for, you didn’t need to make effort, you were just blessed with them. Stay humble, appreciate them (appreciation is what Jupiter appreciates), and don’t take anything for granted. And you are not entitled to any of them, mind you. And this way, you might be able to keep them for a very long time. Otherwise, you will be left with good memories that will never come back.
Also, Jupiter is knowledge and wisdom. With this knowledge, you can stay blessed for a long time.
Keywords and main domains:
joy, wisdom, happiness, good fortune, humbleness, gratefulness, optimism, appreciation, charity, sweet taste, fruits, children, being creative, sacral chakra, being charitable, jovial, kindness, abundance mentality, magnifying glass, exaggerating, over-doing, opportunities, good luck, good karma, good deeds, prosperity, wealth, understanding, higher knowledge, higher studies, teacher, guru, priest, foreign matters, belief system, philosophy, higher-minded topics, education and it represents the husband for women
When it touches a “sensitive point” in the natal chart…
Jupiter transits are so awaited; it helps those life areas it touches and allows things to happen with ease. It is in charge of pregnancies, finding the love of your life, financial abundance, healing, opportunities, positive developments, etc. Basically, everything humans pray for.
On the flip side, when it distributes its gifts, we take them for granted, or even worse, feel entitled to them; we feel we deserve them without the need to take or do anything special for them. And human nature is that we want more of those blessings without appreciating the previous ones.
What happens when Jupiter doesn’t see us as grateful and humble? It can take away those precious gifts it gave us, and those good times will never come back. Basically leaves us alone with the memories of the “good old days.”
How to make the giant planet satisfied?
Act like the planet, be generous and charitable, and appreciate all of your blessings. The giant planet loves spirituality, optimism, prayer, and wisdom. Jupiter wants to teach you that real happiness comes from the inside and doesn’t depend on outer circumstances.
The ruler of Sagittarius and Pisces
Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius the wanderer of the Zodiac and the traditional ruling planet of Pisces. These two signs are not so much different at all; even though Sagittarius is a fire sign, while Pisces is a gentle water sign. Sagittarius domains are everything that is connected to foreign countries, such as travels, legal documents, and relocation, while Pisces domains are far away countries, and oversee places. Sagittarius is the generous philosopher of the zodiac, which teaches and loves to give advice; Pisces is all about spirituality and unity.
Day vs Night charts
Jupiter is better in the day charts, while less fortunate in the night charts.
Day chart is when the Sun is above the horizon. When it is above the Ascendant-Descendant axis.
While less benefic in the night chart. Night chart means when the Sun is below the horizon, below the Ascendant-Descendant axis.
Something I really want you to know:
Jupiter represents the meaning of our lives, wisdom, and understanding. Therefore having/gaining wisdom means we are able to understand the nature of our Universe, the spiritual or divine law. And these understandings give us the real happiness we tend to seek everywhere. Furthermore, once you found your meaning- it can be a job, a hobby, volunteer work, having a family, etc- you eventually develop the inner sense of bliss, which is that kind of happiness that doesn’t depend on outer circumstances,
I wish you to find your meaning, and to have understanding in order to have an incredibly blissful life!
