Jupiter is the ~Santa Clause~ amongst the planets. Wherever it is located in the natal chart and wherever it goes it gives its gifts and blessings. most of the time-, beyond measures.
For now, let’s focus on natal Jupiter.
Wherever you have Jupiter in your natal chart you have much more luck, and fortune in that subject of life that house is associated with Jupiter is in. For example, Jupiter in the 11th house is blessed with many good friends and you have many opportunities to be gainful.
You have stored good karma in regard to some specific subjects. That good karma plays out as fortunate events, jaw-dropping opportunities, positive developments, and expansions beyond measures regarding the house Jupiter sits in.
Basically, the house where Jupiter is located in your natal chart is the area of your life where people- even with the best of lives- are ~jealous~ of you or pray to have such a fortunate subject of life that you naturally have.

Expert advice incoming…
So what is the expert advice, you might ask?
Jupiter gives beyond measure, it loves to “overgive”, “overbless”, and “overexpand” whatever it touches. For a while, at a young age.
Once, Jupiter sees it gave you a lot, it blessed you a lot beyond measure, and it simply stops giving. The thing is, whatever good we have in our lives, we take it for granted. This is human nature by default.
And guess how do you react? You believe you can still enjoy those *gifts* without earning them because you get used to them. Or you begin to pray for more. Because you know how great those Jupiterian gifts were. It either doesn’t give more after 36-40 or gives only breadcrumbs compared to its initial gifts.
(On a side note, this is the time when Saturn becomes more allowing, and lets you catch up with life wherever Saturn is.)
So, what is left for you where you have Jupiter in your natal chart? You are left with sweet memories that will never come back. Even if you are willing to work for them those aren’t happening. At this stage, Jupiter might become a li’l bit like Saturn…
So what can you do?
Drumroll drumroll: The *Expert Advice*
- Stay HUMBLE. Jupiter loves-well, Saturn too- when you are humble, and its gifts don’t make you a bigheaded person. And appreciation, with appreciation you can keep Jupiter’s blessing for a long time.
- Literally, keep Jupiter’s gifts. Keep them, whatever it gave you. An 11th house Jupiter gives you friends and a source of gain so do your best to maintain your friendships and keep your source of gain. If you have a 7th house Jupiter, make sure you are the best possible spouse, and keep your marriage alive.
Not always, but most often Jupiter’s blessings or gifts come with financial opportunities too. So, saving money also helps later dealing with the absence of Jupiter’s initial gifts.
Jupiter’s gifts aren’t eternal, mind you.
A few examples of my professional and private experience and observations:
I have seen a man who had Jupiter in the 1st house in Virgo- Virgo rules work. When he was young he got two restaurants- what a truly wowing job opportunity!– from his parents. That alone could have been a blessing for a lifetime, but due to many bad decisions he went bankrupt lost everything, and at 50+ he can’t even find a job…
Probably the most famous person with Jupiter in the 2nd house is Bill Gates. The 2nd house is the primary money house, and Jupiter there expanded his finances, so to speak. Must admit, his Jupiter is in tight conjunction with Pluto- Pluto makes everything extreme it touches- well, it made his wealth extreme. (And he has other wealth indications too.)To my mind, the reason he can retain his wealth is due to his very generous donations and charities. Jupiter loves charitable people.
Jupiter in the 3rd house, in the house of driving and vehicles. Guess who have that in their natal charts? Both Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen. Both are blessed with outstanding driving skills and probably the best cars in their dominant era. However, if you have been following Formula One, you know that Hamilton had the fastest car until he was 36, since then he hasn’t only not broken records anymore but didn’t even win a race since he was 36. Again, Jupiter stops giving around 36…or gives only breadcrumbs… Let’s see if he can have at least one good year with Scuderia Ferrari after his very long dominant years. (He developed a lot of virtues and always put an emphasis on how grateful and appreciative he is for everything, so let’s hope he can have some more blessings regarding 3rd house and a competitive car.)
Are you still with me?
JK Rowling, the author of the Harry Potter series has her Jupiter in the 5th house. The 5th house is associated with creativity. It is safe to say that her creativity was on fire when she was writing the HP novels. You might say she wrote some other books after the HP novels, but those were nowhere near as successful as the HP books. Anyways, she is still the most successful female author.
I happen to know a social media influencer who has Jupiter in the 7th house. She became famous around 20-21, got married soon – Jupiter in the 7th is a fame indicator- and was popular worldwide. She is still in her early thirties but her popularity dropped significantly, and she is losing followers.
Wrapping it up
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t want to scare you. The opposite, my intention is to help you keep the most beautiful blessings and gifts in your life for a long time.
I keep on saying that being humble, and appreciating whatever good you have in your life ensures to keep them and enjoy them for longer.
Jupiter’s gifts are jaw-dropping, but not eternal, mind you.
