Why is no one talking about what Saturn “does” at the age of 32? Most probably you heard about Saturn returns, especially how significant the first one is at the age of 28-29. Similarly, perhaps you heard about the significant shift that happens when Saturn matures at the age of 35-36 in regard to the house where it is in the natal chart.
Maybe it’s just me…
I have noticed that something significant happens at the age of 32 wherever Saturn is in the natal chart, and also where it transits when you are 32. I know I know, Saturn and Jupiter’s transits are in charge of 80% of the main events of our lives. The events that you remember forever. Those can be significant changes, new beginnings, opportunities, significant developments, getting married, divorcing, having a child, etc.
The truth is, when I am writing this, I am 32 and as a Taurus rising, my Saturn is my profected lord this year and the next year, because it rules both my 9th and 10th houses. So, isn’t this the best time to do research on Saturn?!
According to Vedic astrology, at the age of 32– between the 32nd and 33rd birthday- Saturn becomes more allowing from the 12th house from itself. For example, if it is in the 7th house in the natal chart, it becomes more “allowing” from the 12th house itself, and that is the 6th house. I hope it makes sense! Also, the maturation of Saturn -according to Vedic astrology- begins at 32 and reaches its peak/climax at 36 when it becomes steady.
Exciting, however, this is not exactly what I am researching. And I am using tropical astrology, though.
According to my observation and the research I have made about Saturn at the age of 32 is that it is becoming more allowing and lets something positive happen wherever it is in the natal chart- so you can catch up with life in that area of life– and something positive also happens at 32 where it transits.
Saturn brings karmic consequences, obstacles, delays suffering, and pain wherever it is located in the natal chart, and also wherever it goes, especially before the first Saturn return. However, as I have seen many charts, I noticed that at the age of 32 Saturn made a positive shift in the house where it was transiting, and wherever it is in the natal chart. Moreover, I’ve also noticed that sometimes – not every time though- even the Capricorn and Aquarius-ruled houses shifted, something positive happened there too.
Hold on, this will be looonnngg!
Saturn through the 12 houses at the age of 32
Let me give you a sneak-peak into my research, and show you in celebrities’ natal charts Saturn’s ~manifestation at 32~through the 12 houses.
Saturn in the 1st house. 1st house/Ascendant is the look, path of life, destiny, and identity.
My favorite athlete, Lewis Hamilton has his Saturn in the 1st house- close conjunction with his Ascendant- and when he was 32 Saturn was transiting his 2nd house- 2nd house shows the money and the food intake of the person.
So, when he was 32, he won his 4th world driver champion title as an F1 driver. The reason it might be significant is because with his 4th WDC, he had more than his idol, Senna, and more than Niki Lauda. He always says his main motivation was to get accepted in the white-dominated Formula 1, and acceptance in general. I guess, that becoming one of the most successful F1 drivers in history made him feel better about himself finally, he proved himself, and most probably got accepted. When he turned 32 he had an “easier” teammate- so to speak, from an outsider’s point of view- and he was experimenting with a more bold appearance.
All of these are 1st house domains. The identity, the self, the path in life, the look. And interestingly enough at 35- when he won his 7th WDC, the last one so far, his Saturn matured, and his success became steady…
Anyways, when he was 32 Saturn was transiting his 2nd house, and that was the year he went Vegan. The 2nd house talks about food intake and Saturn is all about restrictions.
Saturn in the 2nd house
The 2nd house is the primary money house. JK Rowling has her Saturn in the 2nd house in her natal chart. When she turned 32, in 1997 she could finally publish her first Harry Potter novel. After having many years of financial issues, she could finally make money with the first HP book. If I’m not mistaken, not a big sum, but it was a significant shift for her back then and the rest is history.
Transit Saturn was in her 3rd house– the house of writing- at that time, and that was the perfect time for her to write more and work hard as an author.
Saturn in the 3rd house
This is my personal favorite placement, Saturn in the 3rd house, especially if it is in Capricorn.
I have closely observed someone with this placement. Saturn in Capricorn in the 3rd house. When this person turned 32, he could finally make a manufacturing business. He began producing shock absorbers for racing cars. That requires very special skills, practical knowledge, effort, learning a lot- 3rd house domains-and attention to detail, perfectionism- Saturn’s domains. Before that, this person was employed for more than a decade, and he could finally become self-employed- also 3rd house domain. Due to his manufactory, he could build a new circle of friends of mechanics and engineers, with whom he is working closely. The 3rd house is socializing, and rules close social circles- while Saturn in Capricorn means professionals.
On a side note, if people with 3rd house Saturn– especially if Saturn has a good dignity- master their craft, learn skills, and are willing to make consistent effort, with time they are in a league of their own. They can be so good in their craft/profession that they literally have no competition.
Saturn in 4th house
The 4th house talks about home, family, being a parent, the mother or becoming a parent, and emotional stability.
The famous actress, Gwyneth Paltrow has her Saturn in the 4th house. When she turned 32, she became a mother. At that time Saturn was transiting her 5th house in Cancer and it also talks about the first child and family-Cancer’s domain.
You see, Saturn can bring some of the most beautiful blessings in life.
Saturn in 5th house
The 5th house is all about creativity, it talks about building your kingdom aka your business, and a lot more other topics.
Actually, the reason I am writing this article and doing research on this topic- Saturn at 32– is because I have noticed a repeating pattern for the first time in people’s lives who had Saturn in the 5th house. I’ve seen that when they were 32 they had an opportunity to make their own business or to become self-employed for the very first time.
One woman with this placement has her Saturn in Aries, and she started running her own gym at 32- as Aries rules sports and Saturn is weightlifting. The other woman with Saturn in Aquarius in the 5th, could make a business as a civil engineer. That was her profession=Saturn.
Bill Gates has his Saturn in the 5th house in his natal chart.
He was 32, in 1987 when he became the world’s youngest self-made billionaire. Though, I don’t think it has anything to do with his Saturn in Scorpio in the 5th house. To my mind, as in that year Jupiter was his profected ruler, and Jupiter in his natal chart is in tight conjunction with Pluto in the 2nd house.
In other words, Jupiter and Pluto in the 2nd house is one of the strongest wealth indications, it is the ~billionaire conjunction ~as Pluto makes everything extreme as it touches. So, it made his wealth or fortune extreme in that year. However, at that time he became well-known or even famous- and that is a 5th house domain.
I hope it all makes sense to you!!
Saturn in the 6th house
I haven’t found and haven’t seen a natal chart with Saturn in the 6th house that would show a positive shift regarding the 6th house matters.
However, I have seen one woman’s chart who has her Saturn in the 6th house and when she was 32 Saturn was transiting her 7th house and she divorced that year. As far as I can tell, she is a happy single ever since.
Saturn in the 7th house
Joe Biden the US-President has his Saturn in the 7th house. He met his 2nd wife when he was 32 with whom he is still married. At that time Saturn was transiting his 8th house – house of transformation, traumas, and healing. If I’m not mistaken, he was going through a traumatic and “transformational” period in his life or the so-called dark night of the soul.
Saturn at that time brought him a positive shift, or it “allowed” him to have a long-lasting marriage.
Saturn in the 8th house
The 8th house rules transformation that feels like a death and rebirth. Michael Jordan has his natal Saturn in the 8th house in Aquarius. When Saturn was transiting his 8th house he stopped playing basketball for almost 2 years, and when he turned 32 he started playing again- the “rebirth” happened- 8th house domain.
Saturn in 9th house
The 9th house talks about belief systems, long distance travels, staying longer time in foreign countries, it rules teachers, or becoming a teacher, being called to teach.
I haven’t seen nor found good examples for this that could convince me that Saturn brought some positive change into the 9th house at the age of 32.
Saturn in 10th house
The 10th house rules career achievements, social status, and reputation.
JF Kennedy had Saturn in his 10th house in the natal chart. When he was 32 he graduated from Harvard University and joined the Navy (in 1940) and served there for more than 2 years. Saturn in the 10th house indicates heavy duties and responsibility towards the government…
His career achievements happened later, however, his 10th house Saturn made him serve his country- he had Saturn in Cancer and Cancer is all about my home, my country, and my tribe.
Saturn in the 11th house
The famous actor, George Clooney has his natal Saturn in the 11th house. 11th house’s domains are having a large number of followers, fulfilling long-term goals, and being gainful. Even though he already had some movies before he was 32, his real debut came with the medical drama series The ER. With that series he rose to fame- 11th house, to appeal to the masses- and become gainful- and became a well-paid actor.
Saturn in 12th house
The 12th house is the house of endings, letting go of something, the subconscious mind, and behind-the-scenes events.
This is such a private house, that sometimes even the native doesn’t even know what is happening, especially if the person is not self-aware.
However, I have seen a woman who had natal Saturn in the 12th house and she basically ended her career and started a new one when she was 32. Though, at that time Saturn was transiting her 1st house and it always indicates a brand new beginning.
Saturn aspects at the age of 32
Saturn Venus aspect
Oprah Winfrey: Saturn-Venus Square aspect
Saturn Squares Venus in her natal chart: Oprah Winfrey met her partner- with whom they are still together- at the age of 32, and the same year The Oprah Winfrey Show premiered. Ever since they began dating, they are still together- Saturn-Venus gives a long-lasting marriage or committed relationship… like for decades long.
And even more interesting that her show was about female issues and topics. Literal manifestation of her Saturn- career, issues- and Venus- women, female topics. In other words, she made a career with this hard aspect. And Venus is in her 3rd house, which is all about talking, media, etc.
For women, it is always advisable to make a career of your Saturn Venus hard aspect because you take it off from a personal level- delays, obstacles, relationship issues, etc., karmic relationships– to on a professional level- Saturn is all about career and hard work.
Actually, the Saturn aspects are more allowing, I mean the hard aspects even before 32. They are better at 30 and onwards, but they too always bring some karmic lesson, or more, and burden, delays, obstacles, shame, hard work, frustration, seeing no results, something painful, etc.
Did you get all that?
Wrapping it up
According to my research, Saturn does bring something positive to the house where it is in the natal chart at the age of 32. And most often wherever it transits too. It looks like the maturation of Saturn begins at 32 and peaks at 35-36.
You might say that the whole natal chart should be considered, and all the transits, solar arc and progression, and profection should be considered, and you are right. However, always begin the predictions with the natal chart because that is the natal promise. Transits can only “activate” whatever is written in the natal chart.
What are your experiences with Saturn at the age of 32? From the 32nd birthday till the 33rd birthday? What happened to you regarding the house where you have natal Saturn and where it was transiting?
