What is the astrological take on the reputation of the royal family members? And what is written for them in regard to that? How will their reputation change in the future?
This article about the reputation of the royal family members is for educational purposes. Since they live their entire life in the public eye and share many details about their private life too, doing research on their astrology chart is a really good way to deepen your astrology knowledge.
The 10th house aka the MC
The 10th house cusp aka the MC, planets there, and the ruling planet of the 10th house are not only career indicators. They also show the reputation of the natives. And reputation is a sensitive topic. The native might “work” for a good reputation for many years (or decades) and it can be destroyed in a blink of an eye.
If you have been reading my articles for a while, you know that I use the whole sign house system for the natal chart reading. However, the MC and IC are the so-called floating degrees, and they can be either in the 9th, 10th, or the 11th sign/house from the Ascendant.
Anyways, let’s dive deep into the reputation of the royal family members from an astrological point of view.
What is written for Prince Harry in his natal astrological chart when it comes to his reputation?
Well, he was said to be the nicest and kindest among the royals. The Venus (being charming and diplomatic) in Libra in his 10th sign from the Ascendant gave him such a good reputation and popularity as well. Since Venus in Libra has good dignity (strong) it manifested handsomely in his life.
The 10th house cusp in his chart, however, isn’t that easy-peasy for him so to speak.
His 10th house cusp is in Scorpio, in conjunction with Saturn and the South Node of the Moon. OMG.
Let’s break it down.
His 10th house cusp is in the 11th sign from the Ascendant: he appeals to a large group of people; with his career or worldly duties he can reach the masses.
Wherever Scorpio falls in the natal chart, the biggest and most profound transformation happens in that area of life. It is like a metaphorical death and rebirth of something. It already indicates that his reputation is predisposed to go through a big change of some sort.
The importance of his Saturn
As Saturn is his 1st house ruler (Capricorn rising) he strongly identifies with his social role, and social status (10th house cusp aka MC). Saturn on the MC indicates heavy duties, worldly responsibilities, and service.
Saturn in Scorpio resists change and holds on to anything it rules for a very long time. That is one of the reasons he doesn’t want to “give up” his titles…
Saturn (ascendant ruler, the native) is in opposition with the Moon (7th house ruler, 1st marriage partner). The opposition feels like the native is being pulled into two opposite directions. Since his Moon in Taurus is the stronger, and the North Node is there (mission of the soul) he made the decision to leave the Monarchy.
What about the South Node located in the 10th house? Well, wherever the South Node falls in the horoscope the native develops a detached attitude towards that subject of life. Usually, it happens around the age of 40. The native becomes disinterested in those domains that house and sign rules in his/her chart. As well as, the South Node said to be “empties” the house it is in.
On a sidetone: Prince Harry, in his early twenties has mentioned that one day he wants to leave the royal family…
What does the near future hold for him?
Well, next year in 2022 and 2023 there will be eclipses in his 10th house. And eclipses always bring fated events. And the eclipse with the South Node always indicates letting go of something. I would not predict a divorce (yet), which is also a change (eclipse, fated events) in the social status (10th house). Maybe his titles will be taken away. Or he won’t identify himself with his titles and social status (being a royal) anymore and will live a more “normal” life.
As he has the North Node in Taurus, his mission in life is to have a simple life, without all the drama of Scorpio (South Node in Scorpio), and to live a finically stable (North Node in Taurus) life with his wife (North Node in conjunction with Moon, ruler of the 7th house=1st marriage partner). You can find more info about this planetary position here.
At this point, you might raise the question of whether he was predestined for leaving the royal family and living in a foreign country or whether he could have made different decisions. Well, he has a few indicators in his chart to live in a foreign land, in the USA to be specific. (4th house ruler in the 12th house, 4th house ruler in Sagittarius, Sun in the 9th house.) However, he could have done the whole “stepping back” process as a senior member of the royal family differently.
I must mention here that those who have Saturn in conjunction with the MC must learn that if they criticize someone, or something, or spread rumors it backfires them…
What about his wife’s reputation?
Bear with me, Meghan’s reputation from an astrological point of view is also very interesting.
Her 10th house ruler, Mars is located in the 1st house in Cancer (according to the Whole Sign House System). Well, Mars is the weakest in Cancer. It is in debilitation in Cancer. According to Placidus Mars is in her 12th house (house of losses).
That very weak 10th-house ruler is already an indicator of a ruined reputation. But who ruins it? Well, it is in the sign of the Ascendant. The native herself ruins it.
In truth, Cancer rules ebbs and flows and fluctuations. Therefore, her reputation might be better sometimes… And Mars has quite a few hard aspects. Though, would not predict that her reputation in the future will be even slightly better…
What about the Princess of Wales’s natal chart?
Let’s have an example of a way more positive reputation from the royal family.
The Princess of Wales’s 10th house cusp is in Taurus, in a fixed sign. The fixity means it stays the same for a longer time. The 10th house ruler, Venus is located in her 7th house in the sign of Aquarius.
Well, she made a social jump with her marriage (Aquarius is a social jump, 7th house is marriage). And 7th house also rules the public. This planetary position makes her very popular.
Aquarius is a fairly social, and easy-going sign, her reputation is quite the same. And Aquarius rules the masses, a large group of people. Again, Venus there indicates she is very popular worldwide.
Final Thoughts
Are you blown away now by how accurate astrology is? Or are you mulling over now whether one could influence their own reputation or is it set in stone? I always say that there are always more possible scenarios, more positive and of course more negative ones. Every sign, house, and planet has its own lower and higher manifestation. It all depends on the native’s consciousness.
