The meaning of the 11th degree in astrology
According to the late Serbian astrologer Nikola Stojanovic’s research, the meaning of the 11th degree in astrology is that it carries all the domains of the Zodiac Sign Aquarius.
The main domains of the Zodiac Sign Aquarius: technology, large system, network, friends, sudden development, goals and gains, nerves, and the brain. Science, scientists, freedom, economy, revolution, being unusual, future, liberation, and social movements.

For natal chart reading, I use the Whole Sign House System-the most ancient one-not Placidus. However, the charts I uploaded are in Placidus House Calculation System. It can be confusing, mind you.
I use the meaning of the degrees as additional information for the natal chart reading.
So, let’s look at some real-life examples of the meaning of the 11th degree in astrology.
Please note that these examples are very brief interpretations. To fully understand a particular planetary position, one must check every detail.
The meaning of Ascendant at the 11th degree in the natal chart
What happens if the Ascendant is at the 11th degree in the natal chart?
Briefly, it gives additional Aquarius-like qualities to the native as Ascendant is the look, the body, and the path of life.
As Aquarius’s main domain is science or being a scientist. Guess, who had his Ascendant at the Aquarius degree? Not other than Albert Einstein! One of the greatest and most influential physicists of all time and the father of the theory of relativity.
On a side note, I could bet that he had those typical Aquarius-like sudden flashes of insights and many AHA moments.
In his case, the 11th degree, the Aquarius degree manifested literally. Ascendant is the look, he has that infamous scientist but somehow unique look, his path in life was to be a scientist of sorts.
And if the Ascendant is at the 11th degree, it means the Descendant too. Descendant talks about marriage and business partnerships. According to Stojanovic’s theory, the 11th degree means divorce, liberation from contracts, and separation too. If I’m not mistaken he had two divorces.
Sun at the 11th degree in the natal chart
Sun is the main indicator for the career because it has a center stage position where it shines like people in their work/career.
What does it mean if Sun is at the 11th degree in the natal chart? It gives additional information about the native’s career, or where the native could shine bright like the Sun.
Logan Paul the American media personality, podcaster actor, and self-made man has his Sun at the 11thdegree.
His Sun is in Aries- that is already a strong Sun and indicates a self-made man or an entrepreneur of sorts. How did the 11th degree manifest for him? Well, one of the main Aquarius domains is a large group of people. Logan Paul reaches tens of millions of people daily with his work, on social media platforms.
Moon at the 11th degree
In the natal chart, the Moon symbolizes the mother or the primacy caretaker. What does it mean if the Moon is at the 11th degree in the natal chart?
As it talks about the mother, it shows that the mother has Aquarius-like qualities. Friendly, have a big circle of friends, well-connected mother, an unusual mother, goal-oriented mother, or gainful mother. Or she is a friend of the native. Or the mother has worked in an Aquarius-ruled career field. Such as scientists of sorts, astrologers, anything to do with high technology, and connecting with lots of people.
In a similar vein, the Moon symbolizes the home environment of the native. Moon at the Aquarius degree, can indicate that friends and acquaintances were always coming and going in the home of the native, or lives close to their friends, or it can indicate that the home is on a high heel, or on the top of the building.
Mercury at the 11th degree in the natal chart
Mercury is the planet of communication and it shows what the native talks, reads, and writes about. And also how the native gathers information.
This example is pretty exciting! Bare with me!
Pope Francis has his Mercury at the 11th degree. Talking about the Aquarius Zodiac Sign, which rules revolutions, and social movements, and also sees things in a different light.
Well, Pope Francis is such a rebellious pope, ok I might exaggerate it. He is not, but what does stand for as the head of the Catholic Church? He accepts and stands with the LGBTQ community- the very first pope throughout history and has talked about it a couple of times. And he as a pioneer, countless times talks about topics that are bordering rebellious in the Catholic Church.
In a similar vein, 11th degree/Aquarius is a large group of people, he reaches millions of people around the world with his speech.
Venus at 11th degree in the natal chart
Venus in the female chart shows the native’s femininity, how she values herself, her way of showing affection, how she gets attached, what she spends money on, her sense of style and fashion, and all the other Venus domains.
If Venus is at the 11th degree, it adds Aquarius qualities to the above-mentioned topics. Such as she has a large circle of friends, her interests are Aquarius-ruled topics, and most probably in a romantic relationship she likes to keep things lighthearted.
Venus in a male chart shows the wife of the man, and how can they meet. Venus at the 11th degree in a male chart can indicate that they meet through friends, or through dating apps, or the wife has Aquarius qualities or literally an Aquarius.
